Braces
october 9 2007
The girls are jumping from joy...
Tomorrow they're going to get braces.
They're so very happy it seems irrational.
Especially when I take the experiences with the conbination braces and boys in mind.
What a disaster!
One skipped the experience altogether, another only reached the goal after we had them glued to his teeth and the other one refused to go back to have the special bits removed from his teeth.
They all have perfect rows of teeth... so I try to comfort myself it was worth the effort, loads of money and troubles. Nature just jumped in to give me a good feeling about it all. LOL!
And now the girls.
They already have the things in place: a bowl to put the daybrace in for the night, a box to put the nightbrace in for the day, a soft toothbrush, special cleaning stuff and all.
They've also spend quite a time in front of the mirror comparing rows of teeth, imagining how they would look after treatment.
The way they handle it all reflects a high level of expectancy and motivation.
Now all I can do is go with them tomorrow morning and smile....
