In soaps and in movies I see people elope.

I'm always curious how people deal with it in real life.

A marriage involves a lot pf paperwork, and I never see people deal with it.

How many people elope?

And why?

Even when your family doesn't agree with your wedding, you can marry in the same town.
Or is that impossible?
