dandelion day

april 27 2008

One way or another some days seem to have a theme.

Today I ran across the first dandelions in the front garden.
We don't see as many of them as we used to see, so I was in doubt whether to consider them to be weeds and pull them out, or leave them alone and give the girls the joy of blowing the fluff and seeds around.
There's such a lovely lesson about nature hidden in the way the seeds are transported.

Then I had a coffee and switched on the TV, watching an item about dandelions and their healing properties: cleaning the liver and kidneys.
I almost ran outside and started to chew one one of the flowers. LOL!

Then a friend came in to computer here and she was wearing a shirt with dandelions.

And on top of it I found the most beautiful bag at Teresa's blog.
It's a give-away.

Well, after not receiving the items I've won at the last give-away, I decided never again to enter a contest.
So many people only want to ship to their own country and only their own country, that I felt I would never be able to win again.

Today I have a tiny bit of hope: maybe I will.

It's dandelion day for me here, so why not enter the contest.

You can too.

So:

Teresa is holding a new contest over at her personal blog.
Those entering have a chance at winning a lovely and uniquely designed dandelion handbag by Rebecca Weis.
Teresa is willing to ship this item anywhere, so anyone can participate.

Let's see who'll be the winner!
