planning and ice

january 11 2009

Today it was the first day that it wasn't as cold, even though it felt cold because of a fierce wind.
They say that tomorrow the ice will start melting. We'll see.

One of the schools nearby has organized a skating event on the lake. So we need to have a night extra of frost.

The boys want to skate too.
Until now they have used skates from friends, but they want to have their own.
A bit late.

The whole week I've been asking to make me a series of photos of the girls on the ice. Just a moment ago I was told my son the photographer wannabee needs a new compact flash card.
He could have told that a week ago.

Now his father is moaning about headache and such... probably preparing for a few days sickleave, so he'll have to wait.

Well, with so many birthdays coming within a month I already have nice wishlists.
It'll be fun to tell them they sure are better prepared for ice next year.

Hun, it's around zero at the moment.

But we've had fun!
