1. Do you enjoy holidays like Halloween or is your approach more robotic?

Whan an offending question!
I don't enjoy halloween, just because we don't celebrate it here in my country.

2. Have you ever been to a haunted house?

No, not a halloween one.
But I have been at a castle in England that was said to be a place where ghosts were seen.

3. What are you doing for Halloween this year?

That's monday, isn't it?
Planning my interviews for the paper.

4. What was your lamest Halloween costume ever?

Never had one.

5. Is handing out candy fun for you, or more of a nightmare?

We hand candy out at november 11, that's St. Maarten's day.
St. Maarten was a man who came past a poor person. It was cold and that person had no coat, whereas Maarten sat on his horse and felt warm.
He tore his cape in half and gave the poor person a part so he would be warm and protected against the weather.
In honor of this, we hand out sweets to kids that visit our door.

Americans have inherited both the remembrance day of the death and this tradition and made them into one.

6. Do you buy trick-or-treat candy and end up eating it yourself?

No.

7. Did you carve any pumpkins this year?

I have seen a couple of pumpkins when we went shopping in Germany, but didn't take one home.

8. What was your favorite costume as a child?

At carnaval I've been a chinese person and later a nurse. I liked both.

9. What is your biggest pet peeve about trick-or-treaters?

None.
